The Trophy Sprint, 3:9:3 and Erin Baker Individual and Team Events have reached capacity and a waitlist has been put in place. To go on the waitlist enter as normal and select waitlist. It does not cost you to go on the waitlist, however your card will be charged automatically if you are accepted onto the start list.

If you are on the waitlist and want to be removed you must inform us of this because if you are accepted onto the start list and automatically charged there are no refunds.

Join one of the biggest festivals of triathlon in New Zealand. Perfectly timed for the height of summer Kinloch enjoys a supremely sheltered swim with native bush down to the water's edge. The bike course has something for everyone and is followed by a brilliant run through town, across the marina and onto an off road section lake-side.

Important Notes 1. If you are racing in the Contact Cup (Open/U23/U19) this is also the 2012 Oceania Sprint Distance Championships. You must have entered through the Contact Tri Series website as well as with the ITU through your National Federation. NZ High Performance Squad members should email Marlene Lucas marlene.lucas@triathlon.org.nz and non High Performance members should email Claire Attwood claire.attwood@triathlon.org.nz . Neglecting to do this will mean a non-start. 2. All participants in the Erin Baker, Contact 3:9:3 and Contact Trophy Events MUST register AND rack their bikes before 7pm on Saturday 4 February. No exceptions. Kinloch is a large triathlon festival and the first race starts at 7am, we cannot have people racking their bikes during events. Contact Cup and Contact 1:2:1 participants will rack their bikes on Sunday after the completion of earlier races; these times will be communicated before the event day. 3. Tri NZ works closely with DOC to help protect New Zealand's lakes and waterways. Lake Taupo is free of Didymo, help us keep it this way.
