Waitangi Park in central Wellington is the centre of the Contact Tri Series finale which doubles as the National Standard Distance Champs, and triples as the final selection race for the 2012 World Champs in Auckland. Athletes will battle the elements and themselves around the challenging waterfront bike course before finishing the season with a multi lap Oriental Parade run with a great atmosphere in front of large crowds. |

Due to the event in Devonport, Australia now being a selection race for U19 and U23 as well as an Olympic Points Race the Contact Cup (Elite/U23/U19) has been withdrawn from the Wellington programme for 2012. The National titles for Elite and U23 will be decided in Devonport. |
